Hampton Inn Athens

Convenient location right off the interstate. We stayed overnight and the mobile check-in and digital key using the app made things very convenient. Breakfast in the morning was great and we had no major issues with the stay. My only complaint was the water pressure in the shower. I think in the recent renovation, they installed low-flow showerheads which is apparently better for the environment but it leads to longer showers and just frustration in general. If I'm ever passing through this location again, I would definitely stay here again.

This particular Hampton Inn is a cut above most Hampton Inns. The main pluses were: competent staff, clean bed, clean shower.

This was a very nice hotel. Modern. The continental breakfast was very good! Had something for everyone. Clean. Very nice workout room! Our room was right outside the ice machine. Just know if you stay in 214 you’ll hear it. The shower didn’t have a lot of water pressure but it was a very nice place to stay! We were about 30 minutes from The Lost Sea Adventure and an hour or so to Ruby Falls. Consider staying there if you’re traveling to the area for either of these places. Front desk staff were very nice and friendly. Seems to be pet friendly although we didn’t have our dog with us. Several guests did.

This was my hotel for a business trip. It was nice that the employees were actually very, very attentive, which I haven't often seen. The breakfast was good enough to get me to eat breakfast, which is uncommon for me. The whole place feels clean and well run.

Excellent. Building is lovely. Finding the pool was difficult. They needed a sign. Our room was very nice. The breakfast for us vegetarians was oatmeal yogurt and fruit.

The odd shaped room (314) I was in used to be something else I think. The carpet felt like there were variations in the floor. If you have issues with lights when sleeping this room is also extremely difficult to sleep in. The lights from the smoke detector and microwave are directly across from the bed. Other than that this was a great place to stay!

Enjoyed the clean modern rooms. There was multiple options for breakfast and it was different every day. The bed was semi firm and had soft pillows. We would stay here again.

We needed a quick layover stop on our trip headed south and happened to find this hotel, so glad we did! My family and I really enjoyed our stay from start to finish. The front desk staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the breakfast offerings were generous and delicious. Our room, as well as the hotel overall, was very clean and well kept. I also loved the Zero% shampoo and conditioner so much so that I’m thinking about purchasing some for home! We truly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone needing a restful night’s stop. We’ll definitely be keeping this one on our list for future trips.
